The kHraken is back - better than before!
The kHraken II ambient delay offers you the analog sound characteristics of its predecessor, with new functions and a completely new style.
This delay modulates in a slightly different way. The WET effect is mixed with the DRY sound and sent to the amp. You can determine what this mix should be like using the mix control. The repetitions of the kHraken sound very organic/washed out - like old tape echo devices.
With the Repeat/Feedback control, you can determine how often the repetitions should be played. This can be done - fully turned up to unrestrained, chaotic self-oscillation!
A new feature is the added toggle switch for the wobble/chorus effect. This effect is not based on an LFO circuit as is usual with chorus pedals. It is much cruder and changes between a spacey, pleasantly flickering sound to an obtrusive distortion.
Also new is the Momentary SWELL footswitch on the right side, next to the Bypass footswitch. This can be used to create rising, freeze-like walls of sound, or slightly floating soundscapes. This effect is strongly influenced by the other settings.
