The evolution of my Electronic Kalimba has reached a new level. The ELECTRONIC THING is finally ready.
Many of your ideas and mine were incorporated into the development of this extraordinary pedal. The new, modular design now offers you almost limitless possibilities. Use the ELECTRONIC THING as a simple guitar combo pedal with integrated fuzz and ambient delay OR activate the internal pickup with the Select switch and thus activate the noise part with its sound modules.
An 8-key Kalimba module and an empty DIY module are included in the package as standard. The kalimba module has the classic range like my bypass kalimba in CAFDCEGB tuning. The DIY module challenges your imagination. You can create your own sound module - the possibilities are almost limitless.
The ELECTRONIC THING brings its own effects. Included is a top-class ambient delay with delay times between 25-600ms. The delay creates wonderfully analog sounding delay sounds and wobbling room effects. The Freeze button interacts with the MIX control of the delay part. This way you can create beautiful sound surfaces or aggressively increasing swell sounds. The Fuzz part offers you classic silicon distortion. Both effects can be used separately or together and are available to the guitar signal and the sound-module- part.
The ELECTRONIC THING is built by me by hand and with high-quality parts. All effects work with true bypass.

Introducing the Electronic Thing by Pedal Tree, both a pedal and an instrument. Besides being a super awesome fuzz and delay (full THD high quality build), it can also be an instrument, accepting sound modules that you can use as is or customize, or even create your own. In this video we look at the Für Elise sound module with delay and fuzz (as Beethoven may have intended) through an Orange OR15 completely clean. This is the first demo of a series, expect more sound modules (kalimba and springs), plus a guitar and bass demo for the Electronic Thing soon.
